Gun Hill Signal Station

Virginia and Ken arrived at Gun Hill Signal Station at 4:53. It was basically closed but not yet locked up. The attendant waived the admission fee and allowed V+K a quick look. The station is one of six signal stations built in the first two decades of the nineteenth century. These stations were for defense services for communication, command and control purposes. This specific station was built after the 1816 slave rebellion.
