Since Ken was not too wild about the idea of driving after dark, in a car and country he was still not that familiar with, after lunch Ken + Virginia headed in the general direction of the hotel. But they didn’t make a straight shot for it. Their first stop on the way back was Hackleton’s Cliff which promised elevated views of the rugged east coast. While it was open to the public the location was on private land and contained the grave sites of four families dating back from 1685 to 1926.
