After viewing the station, and the last of the monkeys, V+K headed back to the hotel. On the way they back traveled on a rarity - a semi-decently paved road that at times even expanded to four lanes!! Dinner that night (Saturday, March 11) was at Blakey's on the Boardwalk, which was very near the art installation they’d viewed along the boardwalk the previous day. The main driver in selecting that restaurant was the promise of a live music trio starting at 8 PM. Virginia and Ken got there at about 7:30. Ken was quite proud of this effort in parallel parking job near the restaurant considering it involved a right-hand drive car, looking over his left shoulder instead of his right one, and doing all of this on the busy city street! V+K were accommodated even through they’d not made reservations. 😲 FINALLY at about 8:45 a single guy on keyboard started playing, but at least Virginia got to dance a wee bit.
